2010 Has been a wonderful year for Dixieland with wins at Royal Windsor, Heathfield, South Of England, West Midland Stallion Show (Home Produced M&M Show Champion), PUK South Show, Surrey County (Supreme M&M Champion & NPS Silver Medal Winner), Reserve Supreme at Kent County along with a Fifth in the NPS SIlver Medal Finals and a fantastic Third at the Dartmoor Breedshow all inhand with Foxleat Victory. On the ridden front Victory has only been recenty re-backed after a five year break and is starting to prove himself in the novice ridden with a 2nd at the Dartmoor Breedshow amongst other goods results at NPS Area20, PUK Winter Champs and NPS Summer Champs also Victory finished 6th in the Top Spec Dressage Finals in only his fourth test!
Victory sired two foals in 2010 Dixieland Southern Charm and Heatherden Apollo (out of our mare Cosdon Anastasia). We have also taken on a wonderful broodmare on loan from Whintor Dartmoors in France, 'Uppacott Frascati' (Uppacott Hermitage x Langfield Noilly Prat) what a great addition to our breeding lines she will be and has been scanned in foal and is due 6th May 2011.
We have a selection of foals available including Dixieland Firecracker by the stunning colt Meering Mister Buzz who was Reserve Champion at Bakewell Show. We have recently agreed to purchase at weaning a cracking foal by Hisley Craftsman out of Moortown April Chymes and is full sister to Hoys finalist Moortown Choir Boy who was 4th at the 2009 finals and full sister to the very succesful yearling Moortown Tor Belle. Foxleat Victory will be available at stud early in 2011 to a limited number of mares.
